Our facility offers space, equipment, and services for students and local growers to learn about the winemaking process and produce their own wines while eliminating the barrier of overhead costs.

Educational programming, winemaking facilities, and demonstration vineyards provide educational opportunities for viticulture, agritourism, and culinary arts programs in partnership with local institutions. Students and wine program affliates can connect to and learn about the local wine and agritourism industries at The Crossvines.

The Crossvines offers stunning new venue options for private events, weddings and corporate gatherings, including a spectacular outdoor wedding venue and a 250-seat banquet hall. Toast to new beginnings, celebrate milestones, and build community at The Crossvines.

The Farmhouse Bistro located at The Crossvines is a contemporary restaurant with rustic charm where patrons may taste The Crossvines' label selection of wines and locally sourced artisanal cuisine with seating arrangements available indoor and outdoors.  

The Crossvines is a tranquil escape for weekenders and day-trippers alike, featuring a full-service bar and stunning grounds and gardens to explore. The Golf Course at The Crossvines, which is located on the property, has already established the site as a destination in Montgomery County, with almost 7,000 yards of championship golf and waterfront views across two scenic lakes.

Rolling acres of demonstration vineyards will create opportunity for students to learn vineyard management skills while providing quality grapes to support the industry. The University of Maryland Extension will coordinate the research and development of this demonstration vineyard.
